FECOLART Secures NBTE Accreditation and Approval for Additional Programmes
FECOLART Owerri has announced five-year NBTE accreditation for seven programmes and approval to commence six additional programmes, effective from the 2026/2027 academic session. The approvals follow the inspection held from 21 to 23 July 2026.

The Management of the Federal College of Land Resources Technology (FECOLART), Owerri, Imo State, is delighted to announce to the general public, prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders that the College has recorded another significant milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence and quality technical education.
Following the Vendor-Based Accreditation and Physical Resource Inspection exercise conducted by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) from 21st to 23rd July 2026, the Board has granted full accreditation for a period of five (5) years, effective from the 2026/2027 academic session, to the seven programmes listed above. The NBTE has also granted approval for the commencement of six (6) additional programmes from the same academic session.

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the commitment, dedication, and visionary leadership of the Management of FECOLART, led by the Provost, Dr. Eberechukwu Bede Onwujiariri.
Under his leadership, the College continues to strengthen its academic programmes, improve its institutional capacity, and provide students with relevant knowledge and skills needed to contribute meaningfully to national development.
